Hollywood Farmer’s Market

August 25th, 2009 by Reggie

Never been a fan of Farmer’s Markets, but I like fresh produce and all things fresh, so I can dig it. It starts here on Hollywood and goes straight to Sunset.

This is where it all ends.

A Few of My Favorite Things

Jazmin March 2nd, 2009 by Jazmin

On Sunday February 15, 2009 I passed maybe the most fun-filled milestone of most people’s lives; I turned 21. Not only did I turn 21, I turned 21 in Hollywood, California. If I wasn’t already 30, mentally these two facts could have lead to disaster or at least some sort of hot dog puking moment on the Walk of Fame. No, instead I spent it with my Pepsi lover boy opening thoughtful presents (HE GOT ME CAMO GEAR FROM MY FAV STORE, SUPPLY SERGEANT!!!), having lunch, then winding down and bathing in our tub only to get out and start taking straight Patron shots in our kitchen.

Later we went out to Club LAX. That place is wack–unless you like Techno, crowds, streetwear kids, expensive drinks ($11 for tequila/oj combo) oh yea and a dance floor that was taken over by “breakers.” I use quotations because they were the worst breakers I have ever seen in my life and they had those retarded neon denim jeans that are tight around the balls and had this craze around their chubby little necks:

Anyway, we were there for literally 10 minutes. We walked up a few blocks and came across this spot called Boardner’s by La Belle.

First we checked out the bar, very low-key–super plus!,

Then we ended up in the club called the B52 club because I heard a song I was really feeling at the moment; I’m almost positive it was La Bouche “Be my lover.” Yeah, yeah, stop laughing.

Anyway, I guess it was some sort of Vampire theme night or themed club. There were topless chicks dancing on the stage with a looped video of a woman taking off her bra, (whatevs to that) but there were tons of private areas perfect for gross out make-out seshs, complete with purple velvet table covers and super soft pillows.

From what I remember they kept playing a really good variety of music. Seriously they went from Dr. Dre to Britney Spears to The Cure to Peter, Bjorn and John to Daft Punk. We stayed here till final call because we are definitely a final call couple. The only really bad part about the whole night is we left our place too late (midnight), which means only 2 hours to get my legal drink on.

Irregardless, I had a killer time…..
