Lindsay Nohan

September 6th, 2008 by Reggie

Rumor has it that MTV VMA producers want Katy Perry to lock lips with Lindsay Lohan at the VMA’s like Madonna did with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. All I remember from that night is remarking that a healthy Lindsay Lohan, who actually performed a dance routine, was hot. Anyways, don’t expect to see Lindsay kissing Katy because Samantha Ronson is having none of it.

Lindsay and Samantha lock lips in New York where Lindsay’s filming scenes for the upcoming season of sitcom “Ugly Betty.”

I swear America has an appetite for former Disney stars, especially the female ones and mealtime is unimportant–breakfast, lunch, dinner–whatever. America salivates for Disney stars (Spears, Aguillera, Cyrus) doing wrong. With the exception of Raven Simone (her Cosbyness saved her), just about every female Disney star has been put in a compromising position or has been offered a large sum of money so they can put themselves in a compromising position. So while I’m unopposed to females posing nude (unless I’m related to them) I sort of have to applaud Lindsay Lohan’s decision to turn down nearly three-quarters of a million dollars to pose nude in Playboy.

Why? Cause her family’s been through enough drama in the media (divorce, DUI) and she already posed nude last winter.

Does she need the money? Probably not, although I feel like the tradeoff isn’t so bad. $700,000 so everyone can see your private parts versus $700,000 for the chance to possibly be the best-selling issue of Playboy ever? I’d tell her, “Take the deal, dummy. We’re in a recession. That’s good, recession-proof money.”

I find myself wondering where Lindsay’s conservative side came from. She’s not a prude by any means, but the situation does lend itself to certain theories cosidering the circumstances. Pardon my French but this smells too strong of a cock-block.

Specifically the kind where there’s a ton of womanly-interference in the mix. It’s like when you’re leaving a club and you see a two girls walking out with their arms around each other and you speak to one of them in a “Come home with me” dialect and she’s with it but doesn’t come home with you because the other female shuts down the operation out of jealousy and hatred. And your would-be bedtime-buddy smiles sheepishly and apologizes before walking away.

This is what happened to Lindsay. I’m sure she was down to do the shoot and she informed her lover Samantha Ronson of her plans and Miss Ronson lost it. Lindsay looks like the “please everyone” type so when she saw that she was gonna get a whole lot of static from her “girlfriend” she decided not to do the shoot.

So now that we know that possessiveness killed the Playboy project, I think it’s a lot easier to laugh at this photo. I don’t think Lindsay likes her fun being ruined and I don’t think she’s a Lesbian, either. So maybe she’ll do Playboy when she’s out of her bisexual romance phase and not tied down by a jealous woman.

Bridget

December 25th, 2007 by Reggie

Bridget is an ambitious woman who one day will grace motion picture screens everywhere. You can see her in many music videos, most recently Styles P’s “Blow Your Mind.”

What is it about beauty that makes it capture our attention?

Something that’s beautiful that captures my attention is something that is unique and something that I can’t avert my eyes from.

Name someone you’ve always considered beautiful?

Betty Page. I love Betty Page because she didn’t care what people thought about her. She just had a different look from everyone else. When everyone had a certain look, she looked different.

At what age did people start telling you you were beautiful?

Since I was little. In my twenties, more people started approaching me.

As an extra you knew you wouldn’t be getting much screen time, so why did you do it?

Networking. I like being around that whole scene. I like the vibe. It’s fun for me.

What was your first job not as an extra?

A music video for Kool Keith.

What’s the longest you’ve worked on a set?

10 hours for a Gavin Degraw music video. He does Soft Rock. I was an extra in the video.

How do you deal with unwanted attention on set?

I just brush it off. I speak to everyone the same way, so no one feels like I’m paying them more attention, than anyone else, and that way they don’t think I’m interested.

Have you seen girls on set do stuff, you yourself would never do?

No.

Do you admire Vida?

I don’t. I think she has a beautiful body. I don’t necessarily look up to her cause I don’t compare myself to anyone or I don’t see myself following anyone else’s footsteps, but I think it’s great what she’s doing.

What nationality do people usually mistake you for?

Latin. I get Latin a lot. Sometimes I get Middle Eastern, or Persian.

Do you speak Russian?

Yes.

You like Boxing, would you be a ring card girl?

Of course.

Would you date the Klitcho Brothers?

No.

What would you like to accomplish in 2008?

I’d like to get my name out there more and further my career.

How to Get Me by Yani

December 25th, 2007 by Reggie

Yani is 19, very funny, very Dominican, and an all around great girl.

1. When a guy is trying to talk to you, what are some things he does that let you know you’re not going to give him your number?

Well basically if he’s too into himself, he won’t get my number. Also if I notice a lot of drama, or if our conversation is boring or if he tries to push up too hard. I really hate it when a guy says, “Yo shorty let me holler,” or “Psst.”

2. What does it take for you to give a guy your phone number?

He needs to be a down to earth, sweet kind of guy. He needs to be honest right from the go as to what he wants, especially if he mentions dinner or the movies.

3. Once he gets your number, when is it too early for him to call you?

The same day or even the next.

4. Once he gets your number, when is it too late for him to call you?

A week later I would’ve already forgotten about him.

5. Describe what an acceptable first date is for you.

Dinner and the movies are fine. Dinner must consist of him opening the door for me and doing the nice polite things. At dinner we get to know each other, but not his whole life story, just the basics.

6. Describe what an unacceptable first date is for you.

Having to put up with a guy that dwells on his ex, or is too into himself. I’ll get pissed off if he’s constantly answering his cell. I’m turned off when he brags about how much money he “has.”

7. What will get him a second date with you?

Paying for dinner, just joking. I like honesty. If he’s honest with me, he may get a second date. It doesn’t matter what he’s talking about. I don’t care if he says he wants sex, he’s not going to get it but at least he was honest with me.

8. Will the answer to number 7 earn him a good night kiss that night?

Maybe, if he has nice teeth.

9. Will the answer to number 7 get you to invite him inside that night?

Oh no.

10. What is the best advice you can give to guys trying to talk to females?

Guys keep real. Women hate to be lied to. Be yourself and definitely don’t be shy. Women like guys that go for what they want.

Marisa Ross

November 29th, 2006 by Reggie

Marisa Ross is on the move, so keep an eye (or both) out for this ambitious woman, but as fine as she is you’ll take notice. She’s hard to miss.

Where are you from?

Connecticut.

What’s your ethnic background?

My Mom is White. She’s Irish and Norwegian. My Dad is Black and Native American.

How did your parents meet?

My Mom worked with my Dad’s sister.

Are they models?

My mom did some fashion modeling when she was young.

When did you realize you were attractive?

College.

Have men followed you while walking down the street?

If they have I haven’t noticed.

Have any of them taken it personally when you rejected their advances?

Definitely, I think it bruises their egos.

How did you get into modeling?

An old friend of mine is a runway model and she suggested I try it.

What kind of a model are you?

I’m a glamour model, but I would like to branch out into fashion as well.

Do you just do shoots, or do you do shows too?

Shoots mostly. I’ve only done one fashion show. It was pretty fun though.

What didn’t you like about being in a music video shoot?

The hours are so long.

What do you think of Karrine Stephens?

I think she’s a disgrace. I have no respect for her as a woman.

Would you have been a contestant on Flavor of Love?

Hell to the no.

What do you plan on doing with your history and journalism degrees upon graduation?

I’d definitely like to continue my education whether it be in law school or graduate school.
