Jordan’s a 17 year old from Georgia who’s going about skating the right way–by having fun first.

What did you initially enjoy about skating?

The way it makes me feel is amazing. Everything goes away when I’m riding my board, and it’s the most fun I’ve ever had.

What’s your stance?

I skate regular.

How old were you when you started realizing you were good?

I was 12 when I won this Mountain Dew contest. That’s when I was like, “Well, I must be doing something right.”

How did you get sponsored?

Well my good friend Jon Porter started a company again, and somehow I was the first one asked to ride. That was special to me and I thank him all the time for it

How long have you been skating?

I’ve been skating for about 6 years now.

What made you start skating?

My moms got me a board and one of my friends was really into it and it just started from there.

Do you have any sponsors?

Yeah, I do have sponsors. I ride for Atnalta Skateboards, Venture trucks, and Hubba wheels.

Have you traveled because of skating?

Yes, fortunately enough I’ve been able to go to different places and see different spots. I’ve been to Chicago, Kansas City, and Miami so far, but hopefully more to come!

Tell me about your trip to Miami?

Miami was crazy. If you check out the new Atnalta skate video “Scarlet Fever” you can see all the footy of the trips. It was just really fun just crusing down South Beach hollering at all the ladies.

What’s Kansas City like?

Kansas was sick, especially the spots they have. A lot of the dudes we met down there were super cool. So I definitely want to make another trip back down there.

What did you like about Chicago?

Chicago was the best, like it makes Atlanta look like shit man, haha. The city’s so big but everything is spotless, like you could eat off the street. By far that was the best city I’ve ever been to.

Who takes your photos?

There are two main people who shoot my photos, both different but really talented. They’re Brandon Gasaway and Dave Greer

Tell me about your photographers.

Brandon and Dave both skate and are really really good at it. Dave shares a part and Brandon has his own part in scarlet fever and they’re both ridiculous. I like shooting with them because they’re down for whatever and they can make what you’re skating look really good through they’re camera. I’m actually trying to get a photo with Brandon later this week.
